It’s a typical mixed residential commercial housing in Taiwan. The host runs a bicycle shop. In my design, I hoped to merge the shop and the house in some part and keep the privacy for both. I found the overlapping program between residential and commercial space, which are garden and study room, and tried to use them as nodes to connect two types of space.
