How much time can be included in a form ?
Before being reduced to a carrier of numbers (clock), the time was read from natural phenomena : tides, positions of sun, stars or seasons.

With Timescape, I intended to propose a sensual way to measure the time. This machine represents the time by caressing a miniature landscape. It translates this landscape into the movement of four oscillating tubes. According to the combination of these dynamic shapes, we are able to recognize the time, as looking at a clock, but in a more organic way.
